Karst Dog Park is the place for a dog gone fun time!

Monroe County Parks & Recreation Department will strive to provide a safe and clean facility with recreational and social opportunities for dog owners and their dogs in an off leash environment.

Karst Farm Dog Park Forums

General Information:

• Annual fee is $75 for the 1st dog & $50 for each additional family dog.
• The Karst Dog Park is OPEN.  Depending on membership demand and park capacity, we may limit the number of memberships being offered in 2008. 
• 2 Seperate enclosures - suggested guidelines: (1.5 acres big/active dogs & .5 acre small or shy or old dogs), on each visit you may choose which enclosure is best for your dog.
• Required vaccinations: Rabies, Bordetella, and DAPP.
• Infants/children under 12 years old are not allowed in the Dog Park for safety reasons.
• Children 12-15 years old must be supervised by an adult.
• There are many quick routes to Karst Farm Park coming from Bloomington & Ellettsville.
• Travel time from Canine Companions to the Karst Dog Park is only 10 minutes.                                                                                             

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

Grand Opening Dog Party!   Join the staff from Canine Companions and Monroe County Parks & Recreation to celebrate the Karst Dog Park Grand Opening Dog Party on Saturday July 26th, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.  Register to win fabulous prizes, receive give-a-ways, socialize with other dog park members and bring your camera for a photo op with the Dog Park mascot.  You don't need a dog to join the party.  Animal Care & Control will have adoptable dogs on site, along with the opportunity to mingle with the Monroe County Humane Association and Pets ALIVE staff.  You may register your dog on site with a copy of the proper vet records (vaccination expiration dates/spayed/neutered) and a check or credit card for payment.  All Dog Park rules apply during the festivities.

How to Register:

• Fill out Dog Park registration form.
• Sign acceptance of terms form.
• Show vaccination expiration dates & spay/neuter proof from your vet clinic.
• Mail, fax or drop by our office with the above documentation and payment to (scroll down for contact information). 
• Accept mastercard, visa or check.
• Once you are completely registered, you will be given a Karst Dog Park dog tag & a key fob that will allow you access to the locked gate.
